Wilson Statement on Selection of Judge Gorsuch to Supreme Court

Congressman Joe Wilson issued the following statement praising President Trump's selection of Judge Gorsuch to the Supreme Court:

"Judge Neil Gorsuch is an excellent choice to be the next Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, and a fitting choice to replace Justice Antonin Scalia. Throughout his career, Judge Gorsuch has demonstrated he is committed to interpreting law, not using the Court to make laws.

"I applaud President Donald Trump's selection. Judge Gorsuch's extensive credentials and impeccable qualifications should earn bipartisan support. I urge the Senate to confirm his nomination swiftly."
