With a new year and a new Congress, my staff and I have been working tirelessly to update our constituent outreach program which includes adding new online features to share information, spur debate, and maintain an open dialogue about the issues facing our nation. It is important that you have the opportunity to remain informed of what I am working on in Washington and around the Second Congressional District. To help complement our office’s already vigorous constituent outreach program, we have recently unveiled a few new features, and we plan to add more in the coming months:
- NEW Website – Our new website is the best place to keep track of what issues Congress is addressing as well as my thoughts on legislation and the challenges facing our nation. It is a one stop shop for information about the Second District, Congressional activity, and most importantly the many different services and assistance our office can offer. - Telephone Town Halls – I have begun holding monthly telephone town hall meetings with people throughout the Second Congressional District. The feedback has been informative, constructive, and I’ve truly enjoyed making use of this technology to have a forum that we can all enjoy from the convenience of our homes and office. I will continue to hold these telephone town halls throughout the district, and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
