CONGRESSMAN WILSON: BLOCKING ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR PPP MEANS DENYING AMERICANS MUCH-NEEDED RELIEF

On April 16, Congressman Joe Wilson released the following statement upon news that funding for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) has run out:

"The Paycheck Protection Program has been a widely successful way to support our small businesses and maintain jobs in this time of uncertainty. As of this morning, this program has run out of money but still, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer continue to block additional funding for the Paycheck Protection Program denying so many Americans much-needed relief and destroying jobs."
