Congressman Wilson Honors the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) honored the life of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. today at a banquet in West Columbia and with the following statement:

“Today we honor a man who committed his life to ensuring equal opportunity for all Americans. Although his life was cut tragically short, Dr. King’s message of freedom, equality and opportunity still thrives today. Dr. King’s cause of justice inspired millions and today we celebrate his noble life and memory,” said Congressman Joe Wilson.
