Wilson Announces $200,000 Award for Ridgeland’s Wagon Branch Project WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) announced that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded a $200,000 grant to the town of Ridgeland, South Carolina, for the Wagon Branch Project. By allowing Ridgeland to extend its water lines to the Wagon Branch community, this funding will help improve water quality in the area. “The citizens of the Wagon Branch community have suffered with poor water quality for too many years,” said Wilson. “Last year, Senator Graham and I worked hard to ensure that the EPA would provide substantial funding for the Wagon Branch Project. I’m glad this funding was approved and am confident that area residents will soon enjoy an improved water system.”
