Wilson Announces 2022 Congressional Art Competition Winner
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) is pleased to announce Abigail Turner of Horse Creek Academy in Aiken, as the Second District of South Carolina's 2022 Congressional Art Competition winner.
"The Congressional Art Competition is a way to recognize the talent of young artists in the Second Congressional District of South Carolina and across the nation. I congratulate Abigail for her wonderful submission. The piece, entitled ‘Through a Hero's Eyes,' is a talented use of color and charcoal to convey a patriotic message. A special thank you goes to her parents, Dustin and Jamie, as well as her art teacher, Bethany Blitch. I look forward to showing her artwork to all of our visitors in the U.S. Capitol over the coming year," said Congressman Wilson.
