Wilson Appointed to NDAA Conference Committee
Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) issued the following statement after Speaker Paul Ryan appointed him to the Conference Committee for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2017:
“I am grateful to support this year’s NDAA, crucial legislation that promotes readiness, reforms military health care options, and extends vital counterterrorism authorities. As Chairman of the Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities, I look forward to working with the conference committee on this bipartisan legislation.”
Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Mac Thornberry, made the following statement on Congressman Wilson’s appointment:
