Wilson Named Ranking Member of Subcommittee on Workforce Protections

Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02), member of the House Committee on Education and Labor, today was named Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections.

“It is an honor to serve under the leadership of Chairman George Miller and Ranking Member Buck McKeon. I appreciate Ranking Member McKeon entrusting to me the leadership of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee.

“I look forward to working with Subcommittee Chairwoman Lynn Woolsey as we address the working conditions of America’s labor force,” Wilson stated.

“The health and safety of our nation’s workers is one of our highest priorities, and Congressman Wilson has long been a strong and reliable voice on their behalf,” said Ranking Member Howard P. “Buck” McKeon. “There is a delicate balance between the responsibilities of government, employers, and workers, and I know that Congressman Wilson will be a thoughtful and steady leader on the critical issues before his subcommittee.”
