Wilson Points to SC’s Welcoming Climate for Businesses: Right to Work Laws
April 20, 2011
Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) issued the following statement as the National Labor Relations Board issued a complaint against The Boeing Company for operating its airline assembly plant in South Carolina:
"Large employers operate in South Carolina due to the welcoming climate provided by the right to work laws in the Palmetto State. Empowering special interest groups to encourage the National Labor Relations Board to wield uncontrolled influence over employers like Boeing would hurt our state's job growth and economy. I am hopeful this claim by the NLRB will be rejected quickly."
