Press Release

On December 10, Congressman Joe Wilson issued the following statement on joining over 100 House Republicans in filing an amicus brief in support of the case brought by the State of Texas to address election irregularities:

“People across the United States are concerned about the mishandling of their votes and irregularities in the 2020 federal election. I share this concern which is why I joined my colleagues, led by Congressman Mike Johnson, in filing an amicus brief that expresses concern and the belief that these issues should be addressed by the Court.

“I am grateful that South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson has also joined the 16 other state attorneys general in filing an amicus brief supporting the State of Texas as they pursue their right to truth. The constitutional provisions that election laws are the sole jurisdiction of state legislators must be maintained and not be changed by judicial action.”
