Wilson Statement on the Passing of Ike McLeese

Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) issued the following statement on the death of former President and CEO of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Ike McLeese.

"Ike McLeese was a dear friend whom I had the privilege of working alongside over the past 19 years. The Greater Columbia Chamber's success is attributed to Ike's tremendous leadership. Because of his efforts, South Carolina's military installations, specifically Fort Jackson and McEntire Joint National Guard Base, have remained strongholds surviving the most recent BRAC. Our brave men and women who serve in uniform and their families have lost a champion who pledged unwavering support. Roxanne and I extend our deepest sympathy to his loving wife Sue and the rest of the McLeese family during this difficult time," Congressman Wilson said.
