??? Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) issued the following statement today on the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

???Today, we remember the three thousand Americans murdered seven years ago. And while we pause and reflect, we are reminded of the incredible heroism of that day - the selfless commitment of so many helping their neighbor, coworker, or a complete stranger. We have seen that character, courage, and commitment every day since in those who have stood up to protect our nation at home and abroad.

???To our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines and all our military families, we owe you a debt of gratitude we can never fully repay. To our first responders and intelligence officials, your service reminds us that there are many roles to play in protecting American families.

???I am grateful to know that so many Americans are willing to stand on the front lines in defense of liberty. We must never forget their sacrifice and never fail to honor it today and everyday.???
