Wilson Welcomes New Jobs to Barnwell County

Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) released the following statement after NK Newlook, a manufacturer of fixtures and retail interiors, announced it will be locating a manufacturing and distribution center in Barnwell County:

"The welcoming South Carolina business climate attracted another large manufacturing investment that will bring over 212 new jobs to the Barnwell area. NK Newlook will invest $5 million to establish operations in Blackville. Once again, this proves that South Carolina continues to appeal to manufacturers and large employers because of its talented and capable workforce.

"I would like to thank Marty Martin, Executive Director of the Barnwell County Economic Development Commission, Danny Black of the Southern Carolina Alliance, Barnwell County Council Chairman Travis Black, and all the local and state officials involved with bringing jobs to the Second Congressional District of South Carolina."
