Wilson Statement on the Trump Ruling by Maine’s Secretary of State

Washington, DC – Congressman Joe Wilson issued the following statement:

“The Trump derangement has appeared again today with the decision by Maine’s Secretary of State to bar Donald Trump from running for President in the state. This undemocratic move is contrary to what Americans should be working for which is to bring our country together with a fair and honest selection where all candidates can participate, especially one that is leading all the polls. It would be outrageous and insulting to the intelligence of any American that he or she should not be able to run without a conviction, as all Americans are presumed innocent until given a full and fair trial.”
