This week, a catastrophic earthquake struck the island nation of Haiti.  There is major damage to Port-au-Prince, the capital, including several government buildings.  Over three million people are estimated to be affected by the earthquake, and while estimates vary at least 100,000 people were killed, according to the Government of Haiti.  Info on how to help and updates from the State Department are below.
