Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representatives Joe Wilson (R-SC), Chairman of the U.S. Helsinki Commission and Steve Cohen (D-TN), Ranking Member of the Helsinki Commission, introduced a resolution to respond to the Russian Federation delivering tactical nuclear weapons to the Republic of Belarus. This is the first time Russia has deployed nuclear warheads beyond its borders since the fall of the Soviet Union, and represents a serious threat to global security in the midst of the war in Ukraine.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representatives Joe Wilson (R-SC) and Dean Phillips (D-MN) and Senators Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and James Risch (R-ID) introduced the Sanctions Evasion Whistleblower Rewards Act, bipartisan, bicameral legislation that would protect national security by offering rewards for information leading to the arrest or conviction of sanctions evaders.

This resolution is co-sponsored by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX), Subcommittee on Europe Ranking Member Bill Keating (D-MA), Reps. Ted Lieu (D-CA), and Jared Golden (D-ME).

     Washington, D.C. – Representatives Joe Wilson (R-SC) and Lois Frankel (D-FL) introduced legislation to extend and increase international development cooperation between the United States and Israel. This legislation reauthorizes and expands a successful program that has enabled the U.S., through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and Israel, primarily through the Israeli Agency for International Development and Cooperation (MASHAV), to engage in sustainability projects in developing countries.
