  Washington, D.C.- U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC), Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel, today released the following opening statement for the subcommittee's hearing on the legislative priorities for military associations:

Following the health care takeover vote this evening, Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) released this message directly to all of the concerned citizens who fought so hard over the last year to protect the doctor-patient relationship and prevent a federal government takeover of health care:

 (Columbia, SC) - Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) today held a press conference at the Midlands' office to discuss the latest updates on the government health care takeover.  Wilson held a similar press conference on Saturday in Beaufort with many concerned citizens in attendance.
