Today, Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has awarded $15,478 through the Fiscal Year 2005 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program to the Daufuskie Island Fire Department. The department will use the funding to provide public education safety programs for local families.
