Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02), member of the House Committee on Education and Labor, issued the following statement today after the House of Representatives approved the Conference Report on H.R. 1429, the Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007, by a vote of 381 to 36. Congressman Wilson, a conferee on the Head Start reauthorization, joined many of his colleagues in supporting the conference report.
