On October 4, we recognized National Manufacturing Day and the importance of manufacturing in the United States. Manufacturing is also a major economic driver in South Carolina, with $33.89 billion in manufactured goods exports in 2018, I am thankful for the jobs created.
Through the years, South Carolina has remained competitive in creating manufacturing jobs for South Carolinians through commitment to regulatory reform, apprenticeship programs, and state incentives.
