"The Paycheck Protection Program has been a widely successful way to support our small businesses and maintain jobs in this time of uncertainty. As of this morning, this program has run out of money but still, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer continue to block additional funding for the Paycheck Protection Program denying so many Americans much-needed relief and destroying jobs."

"Congress has been occupied because of House Democrats' obsession with impeaching President Donald Trump, an obsession that began even before he was elected to office. I am thankful that today the Senate voted to acquit the President and Congress can finally get back to work for the American people. I am always grateful to serve the people of South Carolina's Second District. Although Republicans are not currently in the majority and were forced to deal with a false impeachment inquiry, I was able to work with my Republican colleagues to fight for our pro-job, pro-family and pro-America agenda.
